Abstract

1,271,221. Electrophotographic material. EASTMAN KODAK CO. 18 Sept., 1969 [25 Jan., 1968], No. 4011/68. Heading H1K. [Also in Division C2] An electrophotographic material comprises a supported layer of a photoconductive composition comprising an organic film forming binder and a cycloheptenyl compound. The film forming binders are prepared from styrene-butadiene copolymers; silicone resins; styrene-alkyd resins; silicone-alkyl resins; vinyl polymers; polyacrylic and methacrylic esters; polystyrenes; polyesters, e.g. poly-(ethylenealkaryloxyalkylene terephthalate); phenol formaldehyde resins; polyamides &c. The preferred cycloheptenyl compounds are listed in Table I.
