A two-part fastenerfor -securing an apertured member a to an apertured support b comprises support engaging part A and a retaining pin B, the former comprising a body '1: formed of resilientsynthetic plastics adapted to: be assembled; in: the aperture in the sups port and provided with means 2, 3 and 4 (not shown) respectively engageable with opposite faces of the support to .secure the body in assembly therewith, the body having an axial bore and laterally extending opposed abutments 8 being provided adjacent the outer end of the bore, the pin comprising a shank 9' insertable thrdugh "the' aperture in the member to be secured and into the bore in the body, the shank having a head 10 at one end and lateral projections 13 at the other end so arranged that on the shank being inserted through .the aperture in thesaid member and into the said bore in the support engaging part when assembled with the .support, the shank will, on 'being 'rotated, be .adapted to engage the said abutmentsso that .the pin will be secured to.the support engaging part and the said member secured' to the - support by the head of the pin engaging the adjacent surface of the said member. In the construction shown the surfaces 7 extend' from the extensions 6 and terminate at the abutments 8. The pin after it has been fully inserted into the apertures in the member and support and has entered the bore .5 it is rotated through 90‹ by a screwdriver applied' to a slot in the head and during the rotation the projections 13 ride on the cam-like surfaces 7 and draw the pin axially inwardly of the bore so that the means 2 ,which. as shown ,is a flange drawn into close engagement with.. the support and the head 10 exerts pressure on the member and draws it tightly against: the adjacent surface of. the 'support: When the pin has. been rotated through 90‹ the 'projections 13 engage - the abutments 8 and,the opposed side edges of' a nose-, 12 of the pin provides' the abutments seat-in recesses 14 to prevent rotation of - the pin beyond its fastening position-;-The means 3, 4 are wing-like.elements which are resilient to enable the part A to be snapped through the aperture in the support b.
