Abstract

1,135,852. Air heating stoves. GOLDING ELECTRICAL Ltd. 31 July, 1967 [21 June, 1966], No. 27758/66. Heading F4S. ' In a space heater having a removable secondary duct 5 disposed within an outer couling casing 1, air induced by a rotary impeller fan 17 driven by a motor 13 together with the flame from a gas (or liquid) burner 18 impinges on a conical deflector plate 32 which then disperses the heated gases through a cylindrical outlet 4 into the space to be heated. Fuel is fed to the burner via inlet nipple 19, a supply valve 27, and tubing 20, 21. A sparking electrode 23 actuated by a plunger 26 provides ignition means for the burner. A . safety device incorporating a thermocouple 28 and a thermostat 31 connected to the supply valve 27 cuts off fuel supply to the burner in . the event of flame failure or overheating. The casing is provided with wheels 34 and a handle 35 to facilitate transportation.
