1,133,329. Resin-reinforced rubber, sulphur/ amine/formaldehyde resin compositions. DISTILLERS CO. Ltd. 16 Dec., 1966 [23 Feb., 1966], No. 7904/66. Headings C3E, C3P, C3Q and C3R. A composition comprises natural or synthetic rubber, a reinforcing composition comprising a formaldehyde donor and a reactive aromatic amine-sulphur resin and optionally a vulcanizing system. In examples the compounded ingredients are a styrene-butadiene rubber, ZnO, stearic acid, carbon black, N-cyclohexyl-2- benzthiazyl sulphenamide, hexamethylene tetramine and an aniline-sulphur condensate.
