A wall block comprising spaced concrete panels 1, 2 connected by wire mesh 3 is moulded in a box 6 by (a) pouring a first concrete layer 7 to the thickness x of one panel; (b) placing thereon two angle irons 8, 9 spaced back to back; (c) inserting the mesh 3 between the angle irons and into the soft concrete 7; and (d) pouring a second concrete layer to a thickness x in the tray 11 formed by the angle irons. The wall block may be used as a permanent shuttering unit for a concrete wall. Specification 1,114,677 is referred to.
