Abstract

1,114,219. Plastics cartons. Z. HOHNJEC. 17 May, 1966 [4 June, 1965], No. 21786/66. Heading B8P. [Also in Division E2] A carton (for eggs, fruit &c.) made from deep drawn plastics sheet comprises two halves 1, 2 recessed to accommodate the eggs, fruit &c. joined by a flange 3, each half having projections A, B, which latter form stud and socket fasteners. There may be further projections 27, 28 for transmitting load when filled cartons are stacked. The fasteners A, B may either be press-stud fasteners or else pins making an interference fit in a plain bore. A method of snap release, Figs. 10, 11 (not shown) is also described.
