Abstract
1,112,960. Cleaning ships' hulls. J. VADSETH. 1 Dee., 1966 [3 Dec., 1965], No. 53947/66. Heading B7M. An arrangement for cleaning a ship's hull consists of a device mounted on an auxiliary craft 1 and comprising a cylindrical brush 5 rotatable by a motor 6, the brush being supported by a suspension 7 in a manner providing free pendulum movement. In the embodiment shown the brush 5 has attached thereto a second brush 11 which is rotated by means of an hydraulic motor 12 and swung by means of a servomotor 13 and has a buoyancy container 14 at its lower end. A platform 15 is arranged between the two brushes.
