Abstract

1,196,953. Protective devices. ERIE TECHNOLOGICAL PRODUCTS Inc. 23 June, 1967 [6 July, 1966; 27 Jan., 1967; 12 April, 1967], No. 29123/67. Heading H2H. [Also in Division H1] A protective spark gap is formed by cutting a circumferential groove 4 in a metallized ceramic body, e.g. nickel on steatite. The thickness of the metal surface 2 may be increased by electrodeposited copper which may be tinned so that terminal caps 7 carrying supporting leads 8 may be soldered to the ends of the body.
