Abstract

1,188,025. Grinding wheels. AVCO CORP. 6 April, 1967 [15 April, 1966], No. 15945/67. Heading C4V. An organic resin-bonded article contains diamond abrasive particles and particles of a filler composition comprising metal particles and particles of harder material, other than diamond. The second material may be silicon carbide, tungsten carbide, alumina or mixtures of these and the metal may be copper, silver, aluminium or mixtures or alloys of these. The grinding grade of the wheel may be varied by variation of the ratio of metal to harder material in the filler.
