Abstract
1,185,786. Copper alloys. OLIN MATHIESON CHEMICAL CORP. May 23, 1968 [June 26, 1967] No.24765/68. Heading C7A. Copper-base alloys having high strength and electrical conductivity consist, by weight, of Fe 1À5-3À5% Si 0À02-0À21% #P 0-01-0-15% optionally #Zn 0À03-0À2% #Al up to 0À07% #Mn up to 0À08% Cu and impurities - balance. The alloys may be hot-rolled at 800 -1050 C., water spray-quenched, and then cold-rolled to size in stages with intermediate anneals at 400 - 600 C.
