Abstract

1,176,517. Collapsible perambulators. RALEIGH INDUSTRIES Ltd. 17 Sept., 1968 [8 July, 1967], No. 31556/67. Heading B7B. The main frame 12 of a perambulator carries the flexible seat and is hinged at its lower end to the wheeled chassis 11, being maintained in the erected position by pivoted struts 13. The main frame 12 has an upper U-shaped handle part 12a which telescopes into the lower part 12b and the part 12a carries locking members 17 to which the struts 13 are pivoted so that when the parts 12a and 12b are telescoped the struts 13 move angularly on the chassis 11 to lower the main frame over the chassis.
