Heading C7A. An aluminium base alloy comprises:- the balance being Al. Alloys containing Mn but no Zr may also contain:- Cr 0À05 - 0À3% and Ti optionally up to 0À1% or Ti 0À05 - 0À15% In examples the alloys are hot pressed, annealed, water or air quenched from 450‹C. or aged at 170‹C. after air or water quenching or directly after pressing.
