Abstract

1,155,160. Hydraulic brake control. ALFRED TEVES G.m.b.H. 11 Aug., 1967 [10 Oct., 1966], No. 36931/67. Heading F2F. A master cylinder, comprising an actuating piston 8 having a compensating bore 12 which connects the pressure chamber 9 to the compensating reservoir 14 when the brake is off and a closure piston 10 which closes the bore 12 when the brake is operated, is characterized in that a spring 18 is provided between the two pistons. The spring 18 is so constructed that the resilient force of the return spring 16 when the brake is off is greater than that of the spring 18 in its stressed state.
