The use of an arm of magnetic material for diverting flux from a voltage electromagnet acting on one disc of a two-disc rotor to a point on the other disc, as described with respect to Figs. 13 and 14 of Specification 1, 072, 018 for a meter with three drive systems, is applied to a meter with only two drive systems, one acting on each disc and disposed at 90 degrees to each other. The meter may Fig. 6, (not shown) but need not Figs.4 and 5 (not shown) have a brake magnet in contact with the flux-diverting arm as in Specification 1,154,654.
