Abstract
1,144,622. Nickel alloys. INTERNATIONAL NICKEL Ltd, Jan.29, 1968 [Feb.20, 1967], No.4562/68. Addition to 1, 078, 444. Heading C7A. A corrosion resistant casting alloy has the following composition in percentage by weight: - the balance, apart from impurities such as Fe up to 1 Mn up to 0À3 and Si up to 0À3 being nickel. The contents of the impurities As, Bi, H, N, O, P, Pb, S, Sb, Se, Sn, Te and Tl is kept as low as possible. The alloy may be solution treated at 1050-1135C. for 1-10 hours and aged at 815-900C. for 24-16 hours.
