Abstract

1,035,728. Steam generators. SIMMERING GRAZ-PAUKER-AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT FUR MASCHINEN-KESSEL-UND WAGGONBAU. Nov. 20,1964 [Dec. 3, 1963], No. 47373/64. Heading F4A. A condensing steam turbine plant in which the boiler heating surfaces 1 are followed, in the direction of flue gas flow, by heating surfaces 2 of a secondary circuit for producing and evaporating hot water. The secondary circuit, supplied with water from de-aerator 3 at constant temperature t 1 , comprises one valve 4 for controlling the flue gas final temperature t a and one valve 5 for keeping the hot water temperature constant t 2 and further comprises an evaporating tank 8 which is connected via a superheater and non- return valve 9 to an intermediate stage of the turbine so that steam produced by the secondary circuit does work in the later stages of the turbine. The portion of the hot water in evaporator 8 which does not evaporate flows through a levelcontrolled valve 10 back to the de-aerator 3 and is used to heat the condensate. To ensure that the temperature of this hot water at temperature t s is not greater than output temperature t 1 of the hot water, this hot water may first preheat the heating oil or combustion supporting air before entering the de-aerator 3.
