Abstract
1,021,140. Drawers. PITNEY-BOWES Inc. Jan. 26, 1965, No. 3372/65. Heading A4B. A drawer E is slidably mounted in a cabinet so as to be horizontally supported in the fully withdrawn position, the drawer E having shoulders 55, 56 at its bottom side edges which slidably engage correspondingly shaped side edges 42, 43 of an intermediate one-piece extended plate 30a which is in turn slidably supported on a set of four projections 20, e.g. of nylon, carried by spaced uprights 17. Sliding movement of the plate 30a is limited by engagementof respective front and rear flanges such as 41, with lower parts of appropriate projections located respectively one at the front and the other intermediate the front and back of the cabinet. Outward movement of the drawer E relative to the plate 30a is limited by engagement of stops 60, 61 (Fig. 9, not shown) on the underside of the bearing flanges 55, 56 of the drawer with shoulders 46, 47 (Fig. 5, not shown) formed at the forward ends of cut-away portions of the plate flanges 42, 43.
