Abstract

An assembled candle comprises a container for confining wax granules, having an opening at the top and a wick extending upwardly through the container, containing free-flowing wax granules of a softening point above 100 DEG F., and of a size such that molten wax normally produced about the burning wick surrounded by such granules does not flow away downwardly through such granules, but remains substantially as a pool surrounding such wick such as to continuously supply molten wax to the wick. The particles are normally in the range 1/32 inch- 1/4 inch. The wick may be provided with reinforcing means and a conventional wick holder. Any suitable wax may be employed.
