Abstract

1,078,729. Spinning. PULLMAX A.B. Dec. 18, 1964 [Dec. 18, 1963], No. 51640/64. Heading B3J. A flat or dished plate 1 of circular or oval shape is flanged about a fixed supporting roller 2 by means of a pressure roller 3 which is mounted on a shaft in bearings 4 and 5 and is moved by a cylinder 9 and a pair of cylinders 11 around the profile of the roller 2. The roller 2 is driven from a motor 6, and further rollers 15 support the plate 1. The central plate support 16 is adjustable. During flanging of the plate the angle α.
