Abstract

Antidepressant compositions comprise 2-chloro-9-(3-dimethylaminopropylidene)-thioxanthene, or a salt thereof, and 5-(3-dimethylaminopropylidene)-dibenzo [a,d] cyclohepta [1,4] diene, or a salt thereof. The compositions may be formulated into oral or parenteral doseage forms optionally with standard excipients and/or adjuvants.
