Abstract

A vulcanized moulding compound is based on polypropylene with up to 50% of a copolymer of ethylene and 30 to 70% by weight of propylene. In an example stabilized polypropylene is mixed with an ethylene-propylene-rubber copolymer containing 50 weight per cent of propylene and 4 weight per cent of dicyclopentadiene and is vulcanized using conventional vulcanizing agents and accelerators, and lubricants. The usual pigments and fillers may be added.
