Abstract
1,057,584. Endless conveyers. GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHœTTE WESTFALIA. Jan. 22, 1964 [Feb. 2, 1963], No. 2770/64. Heading B8A. A chain scraper conveyer comprises light channel lengths with short channel lengths of extra strength as compared with the light channel lengths fitted between or welded to the ends of the light channel lengths, the channel lengths of extra strength consisting of two cast side sections 1, each of generally E or sigma shape with a centre part 2 providing a bottom portion of a channel length, inner edges 3 of the parts 2 being welded together. A central guide duct 5, Fig. 3 (not shown), for a singlechain scraper line may be welded in at the same time. The width of the channel may be increased by welding an intermediate member or web 4, Fig. 2 (not shown), between the inner edges 3. Instead of the web 4 a guide tube 6, Fig. 4 (not shown), for a holding chain 7 may be interposed between the inner edges 3.
