Abstract

1,042,245. Typewriters. LAMSON PARAGON Ltd. May 14, 1965 [May 21, 1964], No. 20981/64. Heading B6F. In a typewriter having a continuous stationery feeding means which include pin feed tractors 1 mounted on a fixed transverse shaft 3 for transverse adjustment of the tractors to feed variable width stationery, the tractors 1 are provided with a pivotal locking member 9 whose cam face 10 engages the shaft 3 to lock the tractors in the feeding position. For transverse adjustment of the tractors the locking member 9 is pivoted against the action of spring 12, whereby the locking member is secured in this adjustment position by a pin 15, which engages the transverse leg of an L-shaped slot 16 of a catch lever 17.
