Abstract

L’invention se rapporte à un procédé de diagnostic d’un fonctionnement erroné d’un moteur thermique de véhicule, comprenant au moins un cylindre (1) définissant une chambre de combustion (2) dans laquelle débouchent un injecteur (7) de carburant et un capteur de pression de cylindre (8). Selon l’invention, le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes :-une étape de calcul d’une première quantité de carburant injectée dans la chambre de combustion pendant une durée donnée à partir des valeurs de pression de cylindre mesurées par le capteur de pression, sur un point de fonctionnement identifié du moteur,-une étape de comparaison entre ladite première quantité de carburant et une valeur de quantité de carburant normalement attendue sur ledit point de fonctionnement identifié pendant la même durée, - une étape de prise en compte instantanée dans le véhicule d’un écart supérieur ou égal à un premier seuil entre ladite première quantité de carburant et ladite quantité normalement attendue, traduisant un fonctionnement erroné du moteur. According to the invention, the method comprises the following steps:-a step of calculating a first quantity of fuel injected into the combustion chamber for a given duration from the cylinder pressure values measured by the pressure sensor, on an identified operating point of the engine, - a step of comparing said first quantity of fuel and a value of quantity of fuel normally expected on said identified operating point for the same duration, - a step of instantaneous taking into account in the vehicle a difference greater than or equal to a first threshold between said first quantity of fuel and said quantity normally expected, reflecting an erroneous operation of the engine.
