Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte notamment à un procédé de creusement mécanisé d'un rameau (6) de communication entre deux tunnels (1, 2) de circulation ou entre deux puits verticaux, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend une série d'étapes selon lesquelles : i/on fonce, à partir d'un premier (1 ; 2) desdits deux tunnels (1, 2) ou puits, en direction dudit second tunnel (2 ; 1) ou puits, un premier tronçon (6a) de tube métallique équipé d'une trousse coupante, le diamètre interne de ce tube étant égal au diamètre interne dudit rameau de communication (6) ; ii/on met en place, à l'arrière dudit premier tronçon (6a) de tube et dans son prolongement, un deuxième tronçon (6b) de même diamètre, en on fonce ensemble ces deux tronçons (6a, 6b) ; iii/on réitère, le cas échéant, l'opération ii/; lesdits tronçons de tube (6a, 6b, 6c) étant laissés en place et les matériaux contenus dans le tube étant évacués ultérieurement.
