Appareil de production d'argon par distillation cryogénique comprenant une colonne de séparation d'argon (K), des moyens pour envoyer un gaz contenant de l'argon et de l'oxygène (ORG) à la colonne, des moyens pour extraire un fluide enrichi en argon (ARG) en haut de la colonne, des moyens pour extraire un liquide (ORL) enrichi en oxygène en cuve de la colonne et au moins deux stockages (S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6), disposés l'un au-dessus de l'autre, chaque stockage étant relié à deux niveaux intermédiaires différents de la colonne de séparation d'argon par deux conduites, les deux stockages étant contigus.
