Abstract

Turbopompe (1) comprenant une pompe (3), une turbine (4), un arbre rotatif (2) relié à la pompe (3) et à la turbine (4), un carter (7) délimitant une chambre (10) à travers laquelle l'arbre rotatif (2) s'étend, et une cavité (20) dans l'épaisseur du carter (7), la turbopompe étant caractérisée en ce que la cavité (20) présente une partie non radiale (24) configurée pour permettre une circulation d'un fluide dans une direction axiale (D2) opposée à la direction axiale (D1) de circulation dudit fluide dans la chambre (10).
