Abstract
Description
-1- AGENCEMENT DE SIÈGE DÉPLIABLE ET REPLIABLE POUR VÉHICULE AUTOMOBILE-1- DISPLAYABLE AND FOLDING SEAT ARRANGEMENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
DESCRIPTION 10 DOMAINE TECHNIQUEDESCRIPTION 10 TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to an arrangement forming a seat, able to be unfolded and folded at will. The invention also relates more specifically to a seat arrangement passing from an unfolded position to a folded position and vice versa, for a motor vehicle.
Users increasingly want to own modular vehicles, increasing or decreasing, at will according to their needs, the volume reserved for the trunk and located behind the front seats. To do this, an individual seat or seats 20 or an arrangement forming a seat, rear, and folding allow to add or remove between one and three seats. A seat arrangement thus comprises a seat, maintained at an area of the floor of the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The seat arrangement comprises a seat and a backrest, both of which are pivotable individually or simultaneously so as to generate free space for loading. Such a load is most often introduced at the rear of the passenger compartment of the vehicle by a tailgate.
STATE OF THE PRIOR ART As described for example in FR-2.868.997, the seat arrangement comprises a seat and a backrest, the seat being independent of the backrest, that is to say without mechanical connection. To clear the rear volume for loading, the seat 30 -2- tilts forward, relative to an axis located at its nose. Then, the folder tilts forward, with respect to an axis located at its lower part. The backrest is lodged in the clearance left free by the seat having already tilted. However, with such a tilting kinematics, the floor obtained for the trunk is not perfectly smooth, due to the useful presence of newly created intervals between the floor of the passenger compartment and the rear face of the file being found flat. In addition, with such a pivoting and tilting system, the position of the seat arrangement can not be adjusted longitudinally. It is also known from DE-101.43.807 a seat arrangement comprising a backrest and a seat. The backrest and the seat are mechanically connected to each other. To create a volume for a load, the seat-back couple is lifted using side jacks placed at the rear of the passenger compartment. The seat-back is placed horizontally and the load can be inserted underneath. However, with such kinematics, it is necessary that the seat is relatively rigidly connected to the folder, to enable the latter to automatically adopt the high position, while facilitating its unfolded position. This has the corollary to make the seat arrangement uncomfortable. It is necessary for the user to accompany the movement of the backrest, either by lifting the seat, so as to retract it, or on the opposite, by pressing on the seat, so that it can to be used as a seat. In addition, the longitudinal position of the seat arrangement can not be adjusted.
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION A major problem to be solved by the invention is to develop a folding and foldable seat arrangement for a motor vehicle. A second problem is to achieve a retractable seat arrangement, so as to generate an optimal loading volume. A third problem is to optimize the kinematics of folding and unfolding of the seat arrangement. Another problem is to provide a seat arrangement, also allowing its adjustment in the longitudinal direction. The invention thus relates to a folding and foldable seat arrangement, maintained at a floor of a rear interior volume of a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle, moving from an unfolded position to a folded position, and conversely, including a file and a seat independent of the file.
According to one aspect of the present invention, the seat arrangement is characterized in that the backrest moves from the unfolded position to the folded position, tilting relative to a transverse pivot axis, offset from the floor, in the direction of a pavilion of the passenger compartment, so as to establish a gap between the folder in position substantially folded horizontally and the floor, to clear a volume for a load in the interior rear volume of the passenger compartment.
In other words, by tilting the backrest relative to a fixed point located upward of the rear volume of the passenger compartment, the folder occupies a minimum volume, in height near the roof. The load can be easily inserted on the flat floor released and slid under the backrest. In addition, to be able to be placed in the folding position, the seat arrangement is freed from a longitudinal displacement. It should be noted that the terms seat arrangement and seat include any type of object, designed to sit inside a motor vehicle, such as rear seats, individualized chairs or others. The front is defined as the area in the direction of the user's knees sitting on the seat arrangement, and the rear is defined as the area in the direction of the vehicle's opening or rear hatch. The longitudinal position of the seat arrangement is defined with respect to the median longitudinal axis of the vehicle. In a particularly favorable way, the file can tilt forward. The backrest may advantageously comprise sliding means, which can be used to adjust its longitudinal position. The sliding means of the backrest may comprise at least one upper slide, which can be mounted at the level of the pivot axis. The upper slider (s) may cooperate respectively with at least one first slider, which can be mounted on a lateral side of the interior rear volume of the passenger compartment. The means for sliding the backrest may comprise at least one lower slide, which can be mounted at a lower part of the backrest. The lower slider or sliders can cooperate respectively with at least one lower slider, which can be mounted at the level of the floor.
Advantageously, the seat can move from the unfolded position to the folded position, being able to tilt relative to a transverse pivot axis, positioned at the floor. The seat may preferably comprise sliding means, which can be used to adjust its longitudinal position. The sliding means of the seat may comprise at least one slide mounted at this seat. The slide or sliders can cooperate with this at least one lower slide mounted at the floor. The seat may include an anti-tampering system to improve its impact resistance and prevent it from diving downward when a user is sitting on it.

As illustrated in Figures 1 to 3, a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle -5 incorporates a rear interior volume (1), that is to say between the front seats for the driver and the front passenger and the tailgate back. The rear volume (1) is delimited by a floor (2), on which is mounted a rear seat arrangement (3). The seat arrangement (3) comprises a backrest (4) and a seat (6). The backrest (4) is mechanically disengaged from the seat (6). The backrest (4) moves from an unfolded operating position (see Figure 1), substantially vertical or slightly inclined backward, to a folded position (see Figures 2 and 3), substantially horizontally. The backrest (4) is provided with a pivot axis, in the form of a first transverse upper tube (7). The upper tube (7) is inserted into the structure of the backrest (4), substantially at the rear face (8) of this folder (4). According to the invention, the upper tube (7) is positioned approximately at the level of the upper third, both the height of the backrest (4), placed approximately vertically, and the height between the floor (2) and the cockpit flag (not shown). The upper tube (7) is offset vertically with respect to the floor (2).
The backrest (4) tilts (arrow P in FIG. 1) towards the front with respect to the tube (7), and this pivoting movement makes it possible to generate a gap (d) between the front face (9), which is found at horizontal, of this file (4) and the floor (2). This changeover (P) is of course reversible. A volume (V) is obtained, with an upper delimitation corresponding to the front (9) of the backrest (4) and a lower delimitation corresponding to the floor (2). The upper tube (7) is inserted into an upper rail, forming a slide (11). The upper tube (7) pivots in the rail (11). The upper rail (11) is placed horizontally on the wall or the side box of the rear volume (1) of the passenger compartment. The upper rail (11) is located at the height of the upper tube (7), keeping constant its vertical position. The upper tube (7) forms a slider, which is slidable longitudinally in the upper rail (11). The backrest (4) comprises a second transverse lower tube (12). The lower tube (12) is inserted into the backrest structure (4), substantially at a lower portion (13). As a result, the lower tube (12) is flush with the floor (2).
The lower tube (12) is inserted into a lower rail, forming a slide (14). The lower rail (14) is placed horizontally on the wall or the side box of the rear volume (1) of the passenger compartment. The lower rail (14) is located at the height of the floor (2), keeping its vertical position constant. The lower tube (12) forms a slider, which -6 is slidable longitudinally in the lower rail (14). Thanks to the upper (7) and lower (12) tubes, sliding respectively within the upper (11) and lower (14) rails, and forming sliding means, the backrest (4) and thus the seat arrangement (3 ) can take many different longitudinal positions. The seat (6) moves from an unfolded operating position (see FIGS. 1 and 2), substantially horizontally, to a folded position (see FIG. 3), substantially vertically. To allow the pivoting (arrow T in Figure 3) of the seat (6), the latter is provided with a transverse pivot axis. This pivot axis is placed substantially at the floor (2). To allow longitudinal sliding of the seat (6) to adapt its longitudinal position to the longitudinal position of the backrest (4), the seat comprises two transverse tubes (16). These two tubes (16) penetrate into the lower rail (14) and slide there.
The seat (6) comprises an anti-submarining system (17), placed at its lower face and cooperating bearing on one of the transverse tubes (16). Following the tilting of the backrest (4) and the seat (6), a load (L) of a long length is easily introduced into the volume (V), by sliding on the floor (2). Thanks to the invention, the user has the entire length of the interior rear volume (1) of the passenger compartment, without being hindered by the backrest (4) and / or the seat (6) in the folded position.
The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described and illustrated. Many modifications can be made, without departing from the scope defined by the scope of the set of claims.
