Abstract

The device (1) has an upper plate (2) receiving a load and supported by lowering units (4) that are spaced to rest on ground and are spaced in a manner to handle a space (3) of receiving of a handling tool. The lowering units are provided with less resistance zones so as to limit extent of rupture of an expanded material e.g. polystyrene or polyurethane, in an event of shock. A notch (5) extends from an exterior face towards interiors of the lowering units, and is provided with a groove (7) extending along a junction between a die (6) and the upper plate.

Description

La présente invention entre dans le domaine du transport, de la manutention et du stockage de charge, en particulier sur un dispositif de type palette. L'invention trouvera une application préférentielle, mais aucunement limitative, au sein d'une palette réalisée en un matériau léger et fragile, de type matériau expansé, tel du polystyrène ou du polyuréthane. Etant donné la fragilité du matériau, une telle palette en est généralement réalisée en une seule pièce par moulage dudit matériau expansé. Si ce type de palette ne peut supporter des charges élevées, d'un poids supérieur à 500 kilogrammes, elle présente l'avantage d'être légère à vide, facilement transportable pour un coût de fabrication moins élevé que les palettes traditionnelles en bois. De plus, le matériau utilisé est entièrement recyclable. Par ailleurs, toute palette comprend des moyens de support d'un plateau supérieur destiné à recevoir les produits. Ces moyens support peuvent se présenter sous la forme de dés répartis à chaque angle de la palette ainsi qu'au centre de celle-ci, alignés entre eux et reliés par des semelles, généralement sous la forme d'une planche. Ces dés ménages un espace nécessaire au passage des fourches d'un véhicule de manutention, de type transpalette. Ces moyens support peuvent aussi se présenter sous la forme de chevrons, remplaçant lesdits dés et constitués par un longeron s'étendant d'un bord à l'autre en face inférieure dudit plateau, soit transversalement soit longitudinalement à la palette. Dans le cadre spécifique de l'invention, à savoir des palettes en matériau expansé, la fragilité de ce dernier pose un inconvénient majeur. En effet, en cas de choc, le plus souvent provoqué lors de la manutention par un transpalette, l'impact peut conduire à une rupture depuis le point d'impact jusqu'à une zone s'étendant aléatoirement, dépendant du moulage de la palette, et par conséquent difficile à localiser. Dès lors, en cas de rupture, même partielle, l'intégrité de toute la structure de la palette peut être corrompue, en grande partie en raison de la fragilité et de la constitution propre du matériau utilisé. Une rupture peut être davantage préjudiciable dans le cas d'une palette à dés. Si l'un d'entre eux est cassé, la stabilité de la palette est forcément remise en cause, avec des risques que le plateau cède sous le poids de la charge. En effet, les chocs susmentionnés n'interviennent principalement qu'au moment ou une telle palette est chargée, le poids à vide de cette dernière permettant sa manutention manuelle. De plus, un choc dans un dé situé au niveau d'un coin de la palette provoque plus facilement la rupture d'une partie du plateau que l'arrachage dudit dé. Dans ce contexte, l'invention a pour but de pallier les inconvénients de l'état de la technique en proposant un dispositif de type palette en matériau expansé, notamment du polystyrène ou du polyuréthane, dont les moyens de support de son plateau présentent des zones de moindre résistance pour maîtriser la rupture du matériau en cas de choc. D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de l'invention ressortiront de la description détaillée qui va suivre des modes de réalisation non limitatifs de l'invention, en référence aux figures annexées dans lesquelles : - la figure 1 représente en perspective un mode de 5 réalisation d'un dispositif de palette avec des moyens inférieurs sous forme de dés ; - la figure 2 est une vue partielle en coupe verticale d'un détail de la figure 1 ; et - la figure 3 représente en perspective un autre mode de 10 réalisation avec des moyens inférieurs sous forme de chevrons. La présente invention concerne un dispositif de type palette 1. Une telle palette 1 est constituée d'un matériau léger et fragile, tel un matériau expansé, notamment du polystyrène ou 15 du polyuréthane. Elle est obtenue d'une seule pièce par moulage. Ladite palette comprend un plateau supérieur 2 destiné à recevoir une charge. Ledit plateau 2 est préférentiellement de forme parallélépipédique rectangle. 20 Il est supporté inférieurement par des moyens 4 destinés à reposer au sol. Ces moyens 4 sont espacés de manière à ménager au moins un espace de réception 3 d'un outil de manutention, notamment les fourches d'un véhicule de type transpalette. Dans ce cas, chaque encoche 5 est constituée par au moins une rainure 7. Cette dernière s'étend selon la jonction entre ledit dé 6 et ledit plateau 2. En d'autre terme, ladite rainure 7 s'étend en partie haute dudit dé 6, comme visible sur la figure 2, sur tout ou partie de son pourtour.
