Abstract
L'invention concerne un réseau de diffraction en réflexion apte à recevoir un faisceau optique de longueur d'onde λ provenant d'un milieu incident (3) sous un angle d'incidence θ compris entre θ -Δθ et θ +Δθ par rapport à la normale au plan du réseau, ledit réseau comprenant un substrat plan comprenant un ensemble de traits de pas Λ, le rapport entre la longueur d'onde λ du faisceau incident et le pas du réseau Λ étant supérieur à 0,7 et le profil des traits étant un profil triangulaire asymétrique de manière à favoriser la diffraction du faisceau incident dans un ordre P, ledit substrat étant métallique ou recouvert d'une couche métallique (2'), et ledit réseau comprenant une couche mince (4) en matériau diélectrique, dont l'indice de réfraction n est supérieur à l'indice de réfraction du milieu incident, ladite couche mince diélectrique recouvrant la surface métallique du réseau. Selon l'invention, le matériau de la couche diélectrique est un matériau haut indice ayant une épaisseur d et un contraste d'indice par rapport au milieu incident C= (n - n )/(n ) prédéterminés de manière à ce que l'efficacité de diffraction dans l'ordre P soit supérieure en polarisation TE par rapport à l'efficacité de diffraction en polarisation TM pour une gamme d'angles d'incidence 0 compris entre θ -Δθ et θ Δθ.
