Abstract

L'invention concerne une méthode de transmission de paquets de données numériques protégés par des paquets correcteurs d'erreurs et plus précisément de la manière d'insérer ces paquets correcteurs dans le flot des paquets de données de manière à augmenter l'efficacité correctrice de la méthode de correction d'erreurs tout en limitant la latence introduite dans la transmission. Les paquets sont rangés matriciellement, des paquets d'erreurs sont calculés sur des lignes et des colonnes et sont insérés de manière régulière dans le flux à une distance suffisante des paquets de données qu'ils protègent.
