Ces dispositifs comportent généralement un empilement de plaques ondulées ou nervurées définissant au moyen de joints disposés entre lesdites plaques, des circuits alternés de fluide caloporteur ou réfrigérant, une résistance électrique de chauffage étant, en outre, interposée entre les deux circuits, noyée par exemple dans la matière formant la plaque nervurée, cette matière pouvant être, soit de la céramique, soit de la matière conductrice, comme décrit dans le document EP 0586677 (J.
