Abstract

The safe has a hollow central hub (4) so it can be fastened by an inner screw (5) to the shaft (6) of a parasol, for example, or a chair or table leg. It has an opening door (2) and a combination lock (3). The safe can be made from plastic or other material covered e.g. with fabric or leather, and it can have an inner lining of polystyrene to give it an additional use as a cool box. In variants of the design it can be fitted with sliding plates with holes to hold glasses, or have an inner compartment with drawers. It measures, for example, 30 cm in diameter by 14 cm deep, and the central hole is at least 35 mm in diameter.

Description

 The present invention relates to a safety deposit box for storing valuables safe from thieves, on the beach or during any outdoor activity.

 The device according to the invention allows you to be able to temporarily leave your place by leaving your valuables such as car or residence dice, identity papers, payment cards, wallet, etc., without running the risk of being robbed. It indeed has, according to a first characteristic, a housing having an access hatch provided with a lock with coding wheels and crossed in its center by a hollow axis provided with a tightening screw accessible only when the hatch is in position opened. This assembly, the hollow axis of which rotates freely inside the housing, is threaded by the user onto a support such as a parasol, chair, table base. ., and after tightening the screw on the support and closing the hatch with the code lock, it becomes integral with the object on which it has been fixed. If the user takes care to fix the box just under the closing of the parasol, it can no longer be closed and the box becomes integral with an open parasol. A possible thief who wishes to seize the safety deposit box, should also take the support such as the open parasol, the chair, the table, which does not fail to attract attention.

 According to particular embodiments: - the shape of the housing can be different from the eyepiece presented in FIG. 1 to be square, oval, rectangular, hexagonal, or other.

- the housing can be made of bare plastic or of another material or covered with a fabric, leather or other covering.

- The housing can have sliding tabs pierced with a hole so as to make supports for glasses.

 With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a housing (1), provided with a carrying handle (8), and an access hatch (2) fixed to the housing by hinges (7). The hatch has anti-lift ergos which are housed under the wall of the top of the housing and between the hinges, so as to prevent its tearing. A hollow pin (4) having a shoulder at each end is held in place by the upper and lower faces of the housing and remains free to rotate. This axis (4) has a clamping screw (5) having a head large enough to be able to multiply the torque of the clamping which is done by hand. The end of the screw can be covered with rubber or any other flexible material which will avoid leaving marks on the support (6). A security lock with coding wheels (3) ensures the locking of the hatch without having to keep a key on oneself.

 In the embodiment according to Figure 2, the housing (I) has sliding tongues (9) guided by a double bottom of the housing and by lateral guides. A hole can accommodate a glass.

 A courtesy mirror (10) is fixed on the internal face of the hatch (2).

 According to a variant not illustrated, the interior of the housing (1) is covered with polystyrene to have better thermal insulation and to serve as a mini-cooler.

 Compartments (li) closed by their articulated front face are introduced around the central axis (4) and rotate freely inside the housing (1) so as to have access to each of them.

 By way of nonlimiting example, the case will have dimensions of the order of 30 cm for the diameter and 14 cm for the height. The central axis will have an internal diameter of 35 mm minimum for an external diameter of 50 mm. The clamping screw will be 4 mm in diameter.

 The device according to the invention is particularly intended for all holidaymakers having a parasol.

 1) Device to prevent the theft of valuables, on a beach or during an outdoor activity, characterized in that it comprises a housing (l) having an articulated hatch (2) locked by a lock with coded wheels (3) as well as a hollow central axis (4) provided with a clamping screw (5) into which the base of a parasol (6) is introduced, thus making the device integral with the parasol open which it is impossible to close.  2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the housing (1) has sliding tabs (9) pierced with a hole for holding glasses  3) Device according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterized in that the hatch (2) has a vanity mirror (10) on its internal face.  4) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the interior of the housing (1) is covered with polystyrene.  5) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that closed compartments (11) are introduced around the central axis (4) and rotate freely inside the housing (1).
