Abstract

The invention relates to a vineyard stake which is intended for guiding and retaining wires, is composed, in cross-section, of a steel profile which is open on one side, and, distributed over its length, has pairs of punch-outs in bulges which project outwards from the flanges running transversely to the open side and correspond to the length of the steel profile. In order, in the case of said vineyard stake, to obtain simple suspension and reliable clamping of the wire, along with optimum rigidity while keeping the amount of material used low, the steel profile is essentially U-shaped/rectangular in cross-section and the punch-outs in the bulges are designed in the form of a U and/or an inverted U. The legs of the U-shaped punch-outs run parallel to the longitudinal axis of the steel profile, and the webs run transversely to the longitudinal axis of the steel profile, from the rear of the bulges to the legs of the punch-outs, the legs being slightly widened, corresponding to the wire diameter, towards the base and the outer edges of the flanges of the steel profile projecting outwards to such an extent that their common line in each case runs through the legs of the U-shaped punch-outs in the bulges.

Description

The invention relates to a stake called stakes intended to guide and hold vine support wires in a vineyard, which is formed from a sheet steel section open on one side, the two wings of which are roughly transverse to the side. open each carry an outer rib formed by outward deformation of a wing portion, the two ribs extending over the entire length of the profile and having pairs of thread passage openings made by punching and distributed over the length of the profile.

Such a vineyard stalk is known from German patent application DE-OS 25 22 054. It has the disadvantage that the wire must be introduced at an angle into an opening, which is inconvenient.

Another disadvantage of this known scallop is that it does not guarantee tightening sflr and closes the wires in the wire passage openings.

The invention aims to create a stump, of the type indicated at the start, which not only allows simple attachment and tightening on wires but also has optimum rigidity for a small amount of material used for its manufacture.

According to the invention, such a stump is characterized in that the steel profiS has in section a roughly rectangular U shape and the openings punched in the ribs have a U shape and / or an inverted U shape, the lateral branches U-shaped openings being parallel to the longitudinal axis of the profile and their median parts, transverse to this axis, extending from the back of the ribs to the branches of the openings, the branches being slightly enlarged at the bottom, depending on the diameter of wire, and each wing of the profile having two projecting outer edges whose common tangent plane passes through the branches of the openings of the rib carried by the wing considered.

The main advantages of a pole according to the invention are as follows: thanks to the section of the profile according to the invention, the quantity of material required is minimal for sufficient rigidity; moreover, when the wire is stretched, it blocks itself in the branches of an opening and between the opening and the outer edges of the wing concerned of the steel section.

Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge more clearly from the description which follows of a nonlimiting exemplary embodiment, as well as from the appended drawings, in which
- Figure 1 is a top view of a vineyard stalk in place and supporting son
- Figure 2 is an elevational view of part of the scallop of Figure 1, the view being taken in the direction of the son; and
- Figure 3 is a development showing a portion of the sheet used for the manufacture of a scallop like that of Figures 1 and 2, in the planar state for punching the U-shaped openings.

As can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2, the scallop is formed from a steel section 1 essentially in a rectangular U shape, having an open side and two wings 2 extending approximately transversely to the open side and bearing each, roughly in the middle and over the entire length of the profile 1, a rib 3 formed by an outward deformation of the wing 2 concerned. For the reception of the wires 4, the outer ribs 3 have openings 5 in
Inverted U and / or, which is not shown, in U, which are arranged in pairs substantially at the same height on each side of the stanchion; the lateral branches 6 of the openings 5 extend parallel to the longitudinal axis of the steel profile 1 in the sides 7 of the ribs 3, while the middle parts 8 of the openings 5, oriented transversely to the longitudinal axis of the profile 1 , extend from the back 9 of the ribs 3 into the branches 6 of the openings 5.

The branches 6 of the openings 5 are slightly widened in the region of their bottom 10, according to the wire diameter.

The wings 2 of the steel profile 1 also form external edges 11, also extending over the entire length of the profile 1, which project outwards to an extent such that the common plane tangent to the longitudinal edges 11 d 'a wing 2 passes through the branches 6 of the openings 5 formed in the rib 3 carried by this wing, which clearly emerges from Figure 2 in particular.

Each wire 4 is hooked to the stump by its introduction through the middle part 8 of an opening 5 and its depression, through the slightly narrowed passage at the transition from the middle part 8 and the branches 6, as far as the bottom 10 branches 6, the width of which roughly corresponds to the diameter of the wire. When the wire is then stretched, it is automatically wedged between the opening 5 and the outer edges 11 of ltaile 2 concerned of the profile 1, which guarantees its proper blocking. The development of FIG. 3 shows the exact shape of the openings 5 after they have been made by punching in the flat steel sheet.
