Abstract

 The subject of the present invention is the production of compositions comprising nucleic acids and mucoproteins, characterized in that they come from the extraction of snail eggs, this simply by water or by any hydrophilic solvent, not altering the constituents.

In the context of the present invention, the snail eggs are dehydrated by heating to 80. This gives small whitish balls, a certain hardness due to the presence of calcium carbonate. Determination of constituents

We observe in the hydrolyzate the presence of 14 amino acids released from the protein chains. The dominant amino acids are tryptophan, hydroxyproline and aspartic acid, but less of them are hydroxylysine. Note that hydroxyproline and hydroxylysine are the amino acids characterizing collagen in the dermis, thus showing a relationship of biological affinity between the extract and the skin.

 Chromatographic examination of sugars. shows the presence of three sugars: deoxyribose, ribose and glucose; the first two characterizing the presence of nucleic acids, the last that of mucoproteins.

 The presence of nucleic acids is confirmed by the search for purine and pyrimidine bases, according to the technique described in "French pharmacopoeia". Adenine, cytosine, thymine and guanine are thus highlighted.

 Research carried out with the aim of highlighting the lipids in the extract, shows that the latter is practically devoid of it. Only small amounts of cholesterol esters are found.

 The precipitation of the solution by alcohol or acetic acid confirms the presence of mucoitic sulfuric acid.
