Abstract

The invention relates to a device intended to provide immediate heating making it possible to de-ice and defrost the windscreen of a vehicle. The device, which can be connected to the cigarette lighter socket, is fastened to the windscreen 5 by suction pads. It consists of an infrared reflector 1 and of a resistor wire 2 placed in its axis. The reflector is pierced with slots 3 to allow the passage of air coming from nozzles 4. The assembly is streamlined by a shell made from hard plastic 7.
