Abstract

L'invention a pour objet l'hexahydro-1,2,3,4,4a, 9a anthracène-dione-9,10 et un procédé pour sa préparation caractérisé en ce que l'on soumet tétrahydro-1,4,4a,9a antrhraquinone à une hydrogénation catalytique en phase liquide et sépare le tétrahydro-1,2,3,4 anthracène-diol-9,10 et l'hexahydro-1,2,3,4,4a, 9a anthrocène-dione-9,10 ainsi obtenus. Cette anthracène-dione et son mélange avec l'anthracène-diol sont utilisables pour la préparation des pâtes à papier, plus précisément pour la délignification des matériaux lignocellulosiques.
