Abstract

The ski boot has a lower shell (1) and an upper part which articulates round a transverse axle in two parts (13), on either side of the shell. This rotates round the longitudinal axis (15) of the boot, passing through the base of a notch (8) at the back of the lower shell. Each part of the axle is engaged in a vertical rectilinear hole. At least one of the axles is joined to a notched plate (16) connecting with corresp. notches (17) on a plate (18) fixed on the shell, giving controlled relative movement to the upper part or locking it.
