Abstract

The dental pin for mounting artificial teeth comprises a tapered sleeve which has longitudinal and transverse exterior grooves and an interior bore. The sleeve is secured into a canal root and has a similarly tapered stern inserted into the axial bore. The stem has a cylindrical head at its free end with a cap fitting over it. The head and the cap have radial bores which are aligned for the insertion of a screw which fixes the crown to the dental pin.
