Abstract
Procédé pour éliminer par décapage électro-chimique les dépots de carbure de tungstène appliqués sur des supports en titane ou en alliage de titane. On immerge le support dans une solution aqueuse d'acide chromique, dans lequelle il sert d'anode, on applique, entre le support et une cathode métallique, une tension continue d'environ 6 à 50 V avec une densité de courant d'environ 0,43 à 4,3 A/dm**2 pendant une durée d'au moins 30 mn et à une température d'au moins 38 degrés C, la concentration en acide chromique étant d'environ 4 à 40 % en poids. Le procédé selon l'invention permet d'éliminer parfaitement les revêtements de carbure de tungstène.
