Abstract

L'invention concerne un circuit chauffant électrique Le circuit comprend un conducteur chauffant 2 et un conducteur 3 détecteur de surchauffes séparé du conducteur 2 par un isolant 4 dont l'impédance décroît avec la température. Un redresseur demi-onde D1, D2 ne laisse passer le courant dans le conducteur 2 que pendant les demi-périodes positives. Une résistance 7 est connectée en série avec l'impédance de 4 entre L et N, et est couplée thermiquement avec un coupe-circuit à fusible F qu'elle fait fondre en cas de surchauffe de l'isolant 4. L'invention s'applique notamment aux couvertures électriques ainsi qu'aux revêtements chauffants.
