Abstract

A box is made up from a cardboard blank having four fold lines which define the sides of the bottom and from two long sides and two ends are folded up. Battens (2, 3) are secured to the top and bottom of the outer faces of the two ends (1). Further battens (4) are secured to the sides (B) at their ends on their inner faces. The battens are rebated so as to fit together when the sides and ends are erected. The sides have lips (C) which are folded towards one another on assembly.
