Abstract

The fluid distributor may be utilised to control a jack and has a valve-slide (14) in a two piece (12, 13) housing. The slide may comprise a rectangular prism of which the two major faces are rectified and may traverse a rectangular section slideway. The seal between slide and housing may be effected by gaskets, by gaskets with friction washers, or by a precision fit of the slide in the slideway. The housing may have round section passages (5, 6) for fluid circulation, and the slide may have holes (H) of similar section effecting communication between the passages.
