Abstract

L'addition concerne un système d'articulation reliant une colonne d'exploitation de fond marin à une embase placée sur le fond marin. Ce système d'articulation 1 comprend un joint universel de Cardan 4 à noix 5 articulée à l'embase 3 et à la colonne 2 respectivement suivant deux axes de rotation perpendiculaires. La noix 5 est amoviblement connectée à l'embase 3 par une liaison immobilisable au moyen de deux verrous 15 s'électivement rétractables, placés et mobiles respectivement coaxialement à l'axe d'articulation X X' entre la noix et l'embase. Le raccordement entre deux conduites solidaires respectivement de la colonne et de l'embase est effectué par l'intermédiaire de la noix du Cardan et comprend au moins un joint tournant de passage de fluide coaxial audit axe d'articulation X X'. Chaque verrou 15 précité forme une partie du joint tournant et est formé par une broche creuse qui se raccorde amoviblement de façon étanche sur embase ou sur colonne. L'invention s'applique notamment à toute colonne articulée d'intervention sur fond marin.
