Abstract

The heat exchanger is used to extract heat from industrial wastes such as ironing machines in industrial laundries. It is a combination of a cold water supply (2) to the upper part of a sealed tank (1) with a divider (4) and a base collector for the wastes. The divider is a series of synthetic or ceramic rings piled in bulk with spaces for waste flow. The base collector has at its top the admission hole connected to the waste collector. There is also a chicane (10) and a floating constant level valve (11).
