Abstract

The calendar binding strip is in two parts, the first comprising a vee-shaped loop (3) cut from plastics. This has wide ends which are provided with a rectangular hole each. The second part is a long narrow metal strip (5). Tabs are formed each side of centre by punching through a rectangular hole. These tabs pass through the holes in the loop ends and are bent over to provide a fixing. The remaining part of the metal strip is rolled over the sheets comprising the calendar, to provide a crimped fastening.
