Abstract

A wall covering comprises a composite, decorative sheet formed of a substrate to which is attached a layer of fibres by loops of fibre or yarn formed by a special knitting machine which effects columns of chain stitch. The substrate may be a woven or knitted fabric, or a synthetic resin foam. The prod. provided an attractive composite material offering good thermal and acoustic insulation, and good cover for any inequalities in the wall surface to be covered.
