Abstract

The scraper blade is intended for cleaning conveyor belts. The blade (7) is attached to a support (9), which is hollow to facilitate support of the blade. Clamping pieces forming part of the blade holding mechanism may be inserted in the support. A second blade (10) can also be attached on the other side of the support, forming a symmetrical assembly. The blades are coated on both sides and the edge by a layer of elastic material (8, 11), either natural or synthetic rubber or other material such as synthetic resin. The blades, support and coatings extend over the full width of the conveyor.
