Abstract
A space heatin system uses a heat pump circuit in which a volatile expanded fluid is reheated from outside by air or water, and then heated by a circulation device delivering to a condenser where the fluid yields up its calories. A heat-transmitting fluid is circulated through the condenser in conjunction with the device, so that the quantity of heat released by the latter is added to that released by the condenser and thus supplements the heat absorbed by the evaporator from outside. The rate of flow of refrigerating liquid in the heat pump circuit is determined by a formula taking into account the temperature inside and outside the building, a constant between 1 and 2, and a proportion factor.
