Abstract

The back part of the boot has a rigid sole (1) and a rigid upper (3) which encircles the heel, and ankle. The front part of the sole (11) is flexible, and the toe cap (13) of the boot is also flexible. There are buckles (5) on the upper, and an inner lining in the rigid rear part of the upper. At the front of the boot, at least the lateral edges of the sole extend beyond the sides of the upper. These lateral edges are straight and converge very slightly towards the square toe of the boot.
